Media Contact : Carrie Horstman, PIO

PCSO detectives are seeking information on the whereabouts of 24-year-old Sunsaray Willis, who has a Polk County Sheriff's Office warrant for her arrest for racketeering and retail theft.

In December 2017, PCSO Organized Retail Crime detectives identified and arrested two of three suspects responsible for 9 confirmed thefts within stores in Polk County, including JC Penney and Bealls, in Lakeland and Davenport. The three suspects are Willis, 39-year-old Gerald "Jalise" Cobbs, and 20-year-old Varesha Perry.

The first incident occurred at the Beall's Outlet store of south Lakeland on July 20, 2017. That was followed by eight other incidents at JC Penney stores in Davenport and Lakeland, with the last one occurring on November 30, 2017. The suspects could be seen on security video removing shopping bags from behind the cash register, and then later placing items such as clothing and perfume into them, and leaving the store without paying.

In security video from a September 2017 incident at JC Penney in Davenport, Cobbs and Perry can be seen entering the store, then going to an unattended cashier's counter and taking store bags. The pair are then viewed on the video as they leave the store with full bags.

Sunsaray Shaquille Willis, 24-years-old from Lakeland, is still at-large, and has a warrant for her arrest for racketeering (F-1), retail theft coordinating with others (F-3, two counts), retail theft coordinating with others over $3000 (F-2), and petit theft (M-1, two counts). Her criminal history includes: petit theft, cocaine possession, and trespassing. A prior mugshot of her can be seen here.

If anyone has information on her whereabouts, they are urged to contact Detective Tex Thomas at 863-298-6200.
